Amalia Stanton, senior vice president and chief strategic communications and marketing officer for Memorial Hermann Health System, and Donna Beecroft, vice president and chief nursing officer for Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, have been named as two of the honorees for this year’s “Women Who Mean Business” awards from the Houston Business Journal (HBJ) in the category of Outstanding Business Leaders in Health Care.

The award recognizes women in leadership roles who have demonstrated excellence in their careers and community service.

“I’m thrilled to see Amalia recognized for her outstanding leadership skills and her commitment to the community,” said David L. Callender, MD, president and CEO of Memorial Hermann.

She also co-leads Memorial Hermann’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Community Council.

Donna Beecroft oversees nursing operations and patient care practices for the Memorial Hermann Northeast nursing departments, encompassing 227 beds. She is responsible for the development and implementation of nursing strategy, policies, procedures, operational performance metrics, patient and associate experiences, patient care programs and standards of care.

“Donna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as CNO and that, combined with her dedication and commitment to quality care, is a great advantage for the community we serve,” said Justin Kendrick, senior vice president and CEO for Memorial Hermann Northeast.
