Rebuilding After Harvey: Resources for Employees

We are here for you. Throughout the storm, our employees displayed a remarkable spirit of courage and resolve, despite their own personal challenges. It is part of our culture to show compassion, and in recent days, we have seen countless examples of our employees exemplifying this virtue time and time again. Memorial Hermann is beyond proud of the work that’s been accomplished in the face of the worst natural disaster to strike our region in its history. We are a family, and families take care of one another. We are so grateful to have such a dedicated and compassionate team, and while we still have much work ahead of us, we will get through these difficult times and start the process of healing and rebuilding together.

Financial Resources

Employee Relief Fund

Memorial Hermann Harvey Relief Fund for employees is a philanthropic resource dedicated to supporting employees who were most severely affected by the storm. To apply for financial assistance, contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at 866-994-6507. The application process will include a scheduled interview regarding your losses, completion of the Partners in Caring Employee Flood Relief Application (must be on Memorial Hermann network to access application) and documentation of your damages. EAP consultants are available to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Payroll Advances

As recovery efforts begin, those who were impacted by the storm in varying ways may require temporary financial assistance to help rebuild. As such, we will be offering payroll advances of up to $2,000 per employee, which can be paid back by the end of the calendar year. To apply, complete the Payroll Advance Form.

Access to 403(b) and 401(k)
