TIRR Rehabilitation Centers
TIRR Rehabilitation Centers is a growing network of outpatient therapy facilities throughout Southeast Texas. The primary goal of therapies is to restore patients to the fullest activity possible whether they want to return to work, take part in competitive or recreational sports, or realize greater function at home.
TIRR Rehabilitation Centers provides the following programs:
- Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Program
- Industrial Rehabilitation Program
- Sports Medicine Outreach Program
- Pain Management Program
The Multidisciplinary Pain Management Program emphasizes education and behavior modification. The program is designed for patients who experience chronic pain and functional limitations despite surgeries, interventional procedures, the use of narcotic medication and unable to participate in lower levels of care, such as physical therapy, biofeedback, psychological counseling.
Treatment options also include electives to maximize functional restorations, which allow the team to develop patient-focused treatment plans. The multidisciplinary pain management program is located at TIRR Rehabilitation Centers - Southwest.
