of radioactive seeds to treat prostate cancer, a procedure known as brachytherapy,
or internal radiation therapy. Reaching the 100th milestone demonstrates
increased expertise in this procedure, which relies on proper placement
of the seeds for its success.
Half Price
Books donates 30,000 books for Memorial Hermann Children's
Hospital's Half Pint Library. Donation greatly expands the
library, which was created to serve pediatric patients at the
Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital. Half Price had previously
donated 5,000 books. |
