Dr. Denktas joined UT Medical School at Houston in March 2005 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. From 1997-2000, Dr. Denktas was a Clinical Fellow in the department of Cardiology at the University of Texas at Houston. He completed his internal medicine residency training at May Clinic in Rochester, MN and Istanbul University Cerrahpasa. Dr. Denktas received the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2006, and is the author of 22 original articles, 27 abstracts, 7 book chapters, and 11 other professional communications.
