Qualified applicants will have at least a masters degree in nursing, health administration or a related behavioral science; RN or MSW (LCSW preferred). Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in health care related clinical and management capacities with at least two (2) of those years managing an inpatient psychiatric unit. Must have a solid understanding of the scientific principles of inpatient mental health practice, and have solid knowledge of Texas Dept. of Hospitals, Mental Health Code and JCAHO mental health treatment and nursing standards.
