Millions of adults are at risk for vascular disease and stroke. At least 50 percent of people with peripheral vascular disease report no symptoms. Screenings can help identify risk factors that lead to stroke and other vascular issues before these events occur.
Memorial Hermann and Life Line Screening have teamed up to provide low cost vascular screenings to the greater Houston area. You can get five, non-invasive tests for just $149 (a savings of $126).

In recognition of Heart Health Month, Memorial Hermann invites you to toast to a healthier heart at its Red Wine and Dark Chocolate community education program. The program is free and open to the public and will include physician guest speakers including Cardiologist Amilcar Avendano, MD; Cardiac Electophysiologists Hina Siddiqui, MD and James Strickland, MD. Additionally attendees will learn about when to call 9-1-1, experience a heart-healthy cooking demo by H-E-B, and enjoy some dark chocolate and red wine. This class driver safety course is for people ages 25 and older and is applicable for a reduction on auto insurance, but not traffic violation ticket dismissal. Instructor: Bob Huck
