Please join us for a free informative community service program and book signing sponsored by Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital’s "In The Pink of Health". Guest speakers include Palliative Care Specialist Sandra Gomez, MD and Child Life Specialist Martha M. Aschenbrenner, BS. The featured keynote speaker is Kelly Corrigan, cancer survivor and author of the New York Times Best Seller, "The Middle Place". Kelly will share from her new book, "Lift", a reflection on "the great flight that is parenting" and the "complexities of life." Continental breakfast and information booths (featuring palliative care doctor and nurse, Child Life specialists, oncology nurse navigator, and a social worker) from 8 to 9 a.m., 9 to 10:30 a.m. program, and book signing with Kelly Corrigan from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands is offering a free, community education program on colorectal cancer and diverticulitis with a colorectal surgeon, Thomas Newton, MD, and gastroenterologist, Shailaja Behara, MD, as guest speakers.
