27: First ever Memorial Hermann Bunny Hop Run and 5K Walk (8 a.m. start time) FREE! Memorial Hermann Sugar Land and Campbell Elementary School PTA have teamed up to host a chip timed (USATF certified) 5K, Kids 1 Mile Run and Toddler Dash in the Greatwood subdivision. Plenty of food and refreshments will be available while listening to music and event MC, Michelle Fisher from 96.5 The Mix..

3: 3rd annual Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Riverpointe Community Church Fort Bend County’s largest Easter Egg hunt with 15,000 eggs! Lots of activities are in store for the kids including face painting, moon walk and petting zoo. Starts promptly at 10 a.m.! 27: Girls Night Out - Looking for new ways to turn back the clock? Join us at 17500 West Grand Parkway Sugar Land, TX 77479 from South 6-8 p.m. in Conference Room A, B and C: Grab your girlfriends and enjoy an evening of light refreshments while you learn from experienced physicians about innovations to reduce the effects of aging and turn back the clock. Please join us for a free informative community service program and book signing sponsored by Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital’s "In The Pink of Health". Guest speakers include Palliative Care Specialist Sandra Gomez, MD and Child Life Specialist Martha M. Aschenbrenner, BS. The featured keynote speaker is Kelly Corrigan, cancer survivor and author of the New York Times Best Seller, "The Middle Place". Kelly will share from her new book, "Lift", a reflection on "the great flight that is parenting" and the "complexities of life." Continental breakfast and information booths (featuring palliative care doctor and nurse, Child Life specialists, oncology nurse navigator, and a social worker) from 8 to 9 a.m., 9 to 10:30 a.m. program, and book signing with Kelly Corrigan from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Nagging abdominal pain. Cramping. Blood in your stool. Change in bowel movement or habits. Your gut could be telling you something. Memorial Hermann The Woodlands is offering a free, community education program on colorectal cancer and diverticulitis with a colorectal surgeon, Thomas Newton, MD, and gastroenterologist, Shailaja Behara, MD, as guest speakers. Free colorectal cancer take-home screening tests will be distributed to participants. The seminar is free, but registration is required. Call 281.364.5959.
