Dr. Anthony Weido, a Houston native, earned his bachelor’s degree with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in allergy-immunology at UTMB.
Board certified in both internal medicine and allergy-immunology, Dr. Weido has published scientific and clinical papers on the diagnosis and treatment of allergies and asthma. He served on the boards of the Greater Houston Allergy Society and the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.
At UTMB, fellow students selected Dr. Weido the outstanding senior medical student, in recognition of his work with charitable organizations. The American College of Allergy and Immunology honored him with the Proctor and Gamble Research Grant Award.
The same dedication to service and excellence in treating patients characterizes Dr. Weido’s practice philosophy.
Dr. Weido and his wife live in the Houston area.
