Dr. Jessica Rajan, MD

A native Houstonian, Dr. Jessica Rajan graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology and completed her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health).  She trained in internal medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California.

Dr. Rajan is board certified in allergy and immunology and is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Dr. Rajan has been recognized nationally for her research in pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis. She has also published research on aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease and chronic idiopathic urticarial (hives).

As a practice philosophy, Dr. Rajan values developing a healthy physician-patient relationship. She emphasizes educating patients about their allergic condition and its management.

Dr. Rajan enjoys cooking, trying out Houston’s best restaurants and traveling around the world with her young daughter and husband.
