Dr. Deepa Verma graduated from the University of Illinois with an undergraduate degree in biological sciences and a doctorate in medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
A Diplomate of both the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Verma is a member of local and national medical societies. She treats both children and adults.
Dr. Verma’s primary clinical interests are the diagnosis and treatment of allergic conditions, including nasal and ocular allergies, asthma and skin conditions such as eczema and hives. She also evaluates and treats food and insect allergies.
She loves spending time educating her patients about the best ways to address their asthma and allergy conditions. She believes that the best care is provided by working with patients and their families so that they can enjoy an improved quality of life.
In her free time, Dr. Verma enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
