A native Houstonian, Dr. Sandra Templeton attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed her residency training at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Her specialties include breast surgery and surgical treatment of benign and malignant breast conditions.
Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Templeton has been in private practice in Sugar Land since 2000, treating patients of all ages. Her clinical interest is in breast surgical oncology.
Dr. Templeton helps each patient understand his or her individual risk of breast cancer and encourages good breast health for life. For patients who've been diagnosed with breast cancer, have an abnormal mammogram, recently discovered a lump or need a second opinion, Dr. Templeton provides expert detection and surgical treatments as well as personalized follow-up after treatment is completed. Dr. Templeton and her office staff speak Spanish.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Dr. Templeton was named a “Top Doc” by H-Texas magazine, a “Top Regional Doc” by Castle Connally and named to the “Expert Network”.
