Dr. Alexander Drtil completed his medical degree, internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School where he served as chief resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Drtil specializes in arrhythmias, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. He focuses on the evaluation and management of each patient with an emphasis on the relationship between the patient and physician.
He served as an assistant professor of medicine at McGovern Medical School clinical assistant professor of medicine in the division of Cardiology.
