Dr. Sohail Jalal, MD

Dr. Sohail Jalal, MD, earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan and received his post doctoral training as a house physician and surgeon from May Hospital also in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed a fellowship in cardiology and electrophysiology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado, followed by a fellowship in electrophysiology at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases and the American Board of Clinical Electrophysiology, Dr. Jalal has clinical interests in arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular diseases and electrophysiology.

Dr. Jalal believes in the importance of a strong patient-physician relationship. He provides individual treatment plans, the latest in electrophysiology and diagnostic services and acts as an advocate for his patients while providing support to the patient’s cardiologist and primary care physician.

Dr. Jalal has served as a teacher of cardiology and a director of an interventional electrophysiology lab. He has authored numerous medical publications and is a member of the Houston Electrophysiology Society, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association and American Heart Association.
