Dr. Sunil Kumar Chillakuru Reddy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, Calif., and his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, general cardiology, echocardiography, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Reddy specializes in complex catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, as well as advanced device and lead management. His primary research interests are in the field of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Reddy is trained in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology.
Currently, Dr. Reddy is an assistant professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston. Active in clinical education, Dr. Reddy plays a prominent role in the Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship program. In addition, he is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
