Dr. Edward Wei, MD

Dr. Edward Wei earned his undergraduate degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in cardiology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Dr. Wei, who has been in practice since 2010, is board certified in both internal medicine and nuclear cardiology. He specializes in treating cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, heart attack, arrhythmia, heart failure, congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathy and peripheral artery disease. Patients describe him as a patient and understanding physician with a good sense of humor who listens carefully to their questions and addresses their concerns.

He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
