Dr. Masroor Khan earned his medical degree from the Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his internship and residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. In addition, Dr. Khan completed his general cardiology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Ill., and his Interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Ala. He is double board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology and treats patients ages 18 and up.
For over 17 years, Dr. Khan has been caring for Texas patients with cardiac arrhythmia, cardiovascular disease (heart disease), congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction (heart attack) as well as other clinical and interventional cardiology health issues. In addition, Dr. Khan provides a full range of state-of-the-art in-office outpatient cardiology services, including cardiac (Heart) catheterizations, coronary angioplasties, coronary stenting, echocardiograms (EKG), holter monitoring and stress tests.
At Dr. Khan's clinic, patients are not only provided with high-quality cardiology care, but are also educated, which is critical to the long-term success of any patient. Time is spent with patients to ensure that they and their families understand their cardiovascular health issue(s), diagnostic test(s) and different treatment options. In his spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys traveling and running. Most importantly, he loves spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
