Dr. Tal Raphaeli, MD

Houston native Dr. Tal Raphaeli earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency in general surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.

Dr. Raphaeli, who has been in practice since 2006, is board certified in both general surgery and colorectal surgery. He treats patients of all ages. Dr. Raphaeli specializes in endoscopy and treatment of common anorectal disorders such as hemorrhoids, fissures and pelvic floor disorders. He utilizes advanced techniques, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, for the treatment of cancer and benign diseases.

Dr. Raphaeli enjoys getting to know his patients and treasures the relationships he has built with each of them over the years. He strives every day to preserve and improve the health and wellbeing of those he treats by providing patient-focused care and exceptional services.  

Throughout his career, Dr. Raphaeli has presented at numerous regional and national conferences and has authored several published works.
