Dr. Anita Arora Gill earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her dermatology training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School, where she served as chief resident, and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Gill has practiced medicine in Houston and The Woodlands since 2009. Her clinical interests include the prevention and treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne and cosmetic dermatology. She has a strong interest in skin research and how it applies to daily patient care.
The focus of her practice is to deliver the latest dermatologic care, to patients of all ages, in a comfortable setting. Her priorities are the overall health of each patient and the comprehensive care of their skin. She believes in taking the time needed with her patients and they appreciate her calming bedside manner and personalized attention. Members of her office staff speak Spanish.
The author of manuscripts and book chapters on the diagnosis and treatment of skin disease, Dr. Gill belongs to professional organizations that include the American Academy of Dermatology, the Women's Dermatological Society and the Texas Dermatological Society.
Residents of The Woodlands, Dr. Gill and her husband, who is a plastic surgeon, have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys good restaurants, good books and spending time with her family.
