A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Bryan Hiscox earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. While in medical school at UCLA, he also earned an MBA. He completed his internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and his residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Hiscox, who has been in practice since 2012, is board certified in dermatology. His broad clinical interests include medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology. He performs Mohs micrographic surgery, tissue transfer and destruction of malignant skin lesions, and he treats dermatitis and hair loss.
His patients rate him very highly, saying that he cares about their wellbeing and takes time to listen and address their concerns.
Dr. Hiscox has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and teaches, lectures and mentors students who are interested in health science. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society and Houston Dermatological Society.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Hiscox enjoys cooking, crossword puzzles and outdoor activities including backpacking, cycling and triathlon.
