Sugar Land native Dr. Megan Schlichte earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her internship at Houston Methodist Hospital  and her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, serving at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Administration Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, Ben Taub General Hospital and the Pavilion for Women.

Dr. Schlichte has been in practice since 2015. Her primary clinical interests are psoriasis, eczema, skin infections, allergic contact dermatitis, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic/procedural dermatology and skin cancer.  She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients by staying on the cutting edge of medical advances.

During medical school, Dr. Schlichte was recognized with the Houston Global Health Collaborative Award for her commitment to indigent medical care. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, Texas Dermatological Society, Harris County Medical Society and Houston Dermatological Society.

In her free time, Dr. Schlichte enjoys relaxing with family and friends, swimming, college football and live music.
