Dr. Chuan-Li Fan, DO

After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Chaun-Li Fan received his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He went on to complete his family medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, Dr. Fan noticed the difficulties in navigating the health care system and he decided to become a physician to be an active part of the change needed in the system and to help families take a better approach to health.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Fan treats patients ages six and up. He provides services for a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions including, hypertension, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, obesity management and COPD. His clinic interest lies in preventive medicine. Dr. Fan is fluent in Mandarin.

Patients in Cypress enjoy his hands-on approach to care. Dr. Fan’s primary goal is to educate his patients. He believes that everyone should be able to make informed decisions regarding their health care.

As a father, he understands the difficulties of balancing work, family and health; he hopes he can guide all his patients in adjusting their lifestyles, while still taking their everyday life into consideration.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and traveling.
