Dr. Henry Mata, MD

Dr. Henry Mata earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. He completed his residency training at Memorial Hermann Hospital - Southwest in Houston.

Board certified in family practice, Dr. Mata is involved with the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. Dr. Mata has devoted his practice to disease prevention, focusing his efforts on screening, education and preventative medicine for his patients' overall well-being.

When not at his office, Dr. Mata enjoys spending time with his family, going to movies, and participating in outdoor activities like golf, softball, basketball and skiing.
