Dr. Tehmina Sami earned her Bachelor of Medicine and her Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences).

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Sami specializes in adult medicine, dermatology, gynecology, minor surgery, pediatrics, primary care, urgent care and women's health. She also speaks Hindi, Spanish and Urdu.

Patients enjoy Dr. Sami’s ability to provide quality care in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. It is important to Dr. Sami to take the time to get to know her patients and listen to their health concerns. She combines compassion with education and experience to deliver excellent care that leads to the best possible patient results.

Currently, Dr. Sami is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Texas Medical Association. Previously, she was a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
