Dr. Nancy S. Behazin earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock. She received her residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and her fellowship at Scott & White Hospital-Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.

Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Behazin has been in practice since 2008. Her clinical interests involve the care of patients with irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, general gastroenterology, general liver diseases, diagnostic, therapeutic, and screening colonoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic esophagogastroduodenoscopy.

Dr. Behazin’s practice philosophy is to provide patient-centered care. She emphasizes disease prevention and encourages her patients, who are 18 years and older, to take an active role in their disease management. She is passionate about achieving and maintaining the health of each patient. She speaks Farsi and Spanish.

Dr. Behazin is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
