Dr. Satya Jayanty, MD

Dr. Satya Jayanty earned his medical degree from Andhra University Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Jayanty has practiced medicine since 1983. His clinical interests include disorders of the esophagus, Hepatitis C, colon cancer screening, Chron’s disease, colitis and irritable bowel syndrome.

Dr. Jayanty’s patient philosophy is competence, compassion and communication.  His patients value his ability to listen and the time he spends with them. He strives to provide the best and most personal care available using state-of-the-art techniques, treatment and equipment. Dr. Jayanty’s practice focuses on adults and adolescents. He speaks Telgu and Spanish.

He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association, Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy and the Harris County Medical Society
Residents of the Memorial area, Dr. Jayanty and his wife have six children. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, cooking, reading, working out and traveling.
