Dr. Ronnie Adams II, MD

Dr. Ronnie LaSalle Adams, II, earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery residency and served as chief resident from 2005 to 2006 with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at Bassett Medical Center, previously known as Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, in Cooperstown, New York. He then returned home to Houston, where he has been in private practice since 2006.

Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Adams treats patients 16 years and older for a variety of surgical conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, breast cancer, colon cancer, gastric reflux, and ailments of the skin and soft tissues. He specializes in laparoscopy, which can lead to shorter recovery times.

Dr. Adams strives to deliver effective and compassionate treatment, so his patients can experience the best possible results. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.

In his free time, Dr. Adams enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and three children.
