A native Texan, Dr. William Clay Albrecht grew up in Sugar Land. He earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston and completed his general surgery training at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program in Arizona.

Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Albrecht has clinical interests that include general, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with an emphasis on gallbladder surgery and complex hernia repairs.  He also performs surgery for cancers including breast, colon, small bowel, skin lesions, and port placement for chemotherapy.

Dr. Albrecht places an emphasis on the comfort of his patients, both emotionally and physically, throughout the course of their care. He treats adult patients.

In his spare time, Dr. Albrecht enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, family and their French bulldogs.
