Dr. Carlos A. Carreno received his medical degree from the Facultad De Medicina Universidad Central De Venezuela in Caracas. He completed his residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan followed by a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine, Dr. Carreno has been in practice the U.S. since 2001. His clinical interests are in maternal-fetal medicine and high risk pregnancy.
Dr. Carreno is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to pregnant women with high-risk medical complications and fetuses with congenital anomalies and genetic conditions. He listens, evaluates symptoms and problems and educates each patient to help her make the best medical decision.
Dr. Carreno lives in Houston.
