Dr. Rios earned his medical degree from the University of Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and completed his residency training in internal medicine at South Baltimore General Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He pursued further training in cardiology at the Good Samaritan Hospital/ Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases in Phoenix, Arizona.
A member of the Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society, Dr. Rios has practiced medicine in Houston for more than 35 years and sees patients 18 years and older. Diabetes and its complications are among the many conditions he treats. He is a firm believer that communication is key to building strong doctor/patient relationships.
Dr. Rios is married with three children and likes to read and go fishing.
