Dr. Joseph Roosth, MD

Dr. Joseph Roosth earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his internship in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Dr. Roosth, who has been in practice since 1986, treats patients 18 years and older. He is board certified in internal medicine, as well as hospice and palliative medicine. His primary clinical interests are diagnosis, high blood pressure and diabetes as well as hospice and palliative medicine.

In an independent, one-person office, Dr. Roosth maintains an “old fashioned” practice—scheduling few patients in a day, which allows him to take time to listen carefully as he tries to help each person. His patients describe him as an excellent and knowledgeable physician who inspires confidence and takes time to work through treatment options with them.

He is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American College of Physicians and American Academy of Palliative Medicine.

A resident of Friendswood, Dr. Roosth enjoys cycling, walking, gardening, Corvettes, (but just one) and spending time with his fur-baby, Lola.
