Dr. Mukesh Patel, MD

A specialist in internal medicine, Dr. Mukesh Patel’s clinical interests include diabetes, hyperlipidemia (high lipid levels, including high cholesterol and high triglycerides), hypertension and coronary heart disease.  

His holistic practice philosophy embraces a focus on personal attention to each individual, treating them with respect and dignity regardless of their condition.  His patients, who are 18 and older, have come to value his high level of accountability and accessibility.

Dr. Patel attended medical school at Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara, India, and completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Twelve of his 20 years of practice have been in Houston, and he is fluent in Hindi and Spanish. He was named the Best Out-Going Physician of the Quarter Award at Memorial Hermann Southeast.

A resident of the Clear Lake area, Dr. Patel is married and the father of two adult children.  In his leisure time, he enjoys travel and charity work.
