Dr. Nibu Mathew, MD

Dr. Nibu Mathew earned his medical degree at Kottayam Medical College in India and completed his residency at Hurley Medical Center, a teaching hospital affiliated with the medical schools at Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Mathew’s clinical interests are hypertension, diabetes, cancer screenings and thyroid diseases. In practice in Houston since 2006, he treats patients 10 years and older.

Believing that prevention is better than cure, Dr. Mathew works hard to help his patients develop and maintain healthy lifestyles. He cares about his patients a great deal and spends as much time with them as needed. They value his accessibility and good communication skills.

A resident of Pearland, Dr. Mathew is married and the father of two children.  Outside the office, he enjoys watching football and spending time with his kids.
