Tamika Denson-Willis, M.D., received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed her residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Denson-Willis sees patients 18 years old to geriatric and treats a wide array of conditions such as cold, flu, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Dr. Denson-Willis has a special interest in geriatric medicine. She finds that treating older patients is very pleasant and interesting.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Denson-Willis is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and American College of Physicians. A compassionate and experienced caregiver, she finds interacting with her patients is like being with family. “When you see a patient on a regular basis, they become like your family. They give you their trust and put faith in you that they are in good hands, and you will be open and honest every step of the way,” said Dr. Denson-Willis.
In her free time, Dr. Denson-Willis enjoys watching movies, baking and reading.
