Dr. Charlie Gnaim, MD

Dr. Charlie Gnaim earned his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at McGovern Medical School, where he served as chief cardiology fellow and received the “Cardiology Fellow of the Year” award.

In practice since 2002, Dr. Gnaim is board certified in three areas: internal medicine, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular medicine. His primary clinical interests include minimally invasive treatment of peripheral arterial disease, heart catherization and minimally invasive vein procedures. He repairs blockages in the leg, arm and elsewhere through a single small hole, enabling patients to avoid high-risk, open surgical procedures. He also performs heart catherization through the wrist, allowing more a comfortable procedure and recovery.

His patients describe him as a courteous and caring physician who will listen, ask and answer questions, and thoroughly explain problems.
