Dr. Redentor Roy, MD

Dr. Redentor Roy, a native of the Philippines, earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila. He completed his internal medicine residency at a Columbia University-affiliated program located at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. He went on to complete his nephrology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Roy, who has been in practice since 1992, is board certified in nephrology. His primary clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis and kidney transplantation. Dr. Roy is also a commissioned officer in the United States Navy Reserves Medical Corps.  He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Renal Physicians Association.

Dr. Roy is married and the father of three children. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling with his family and playing golf.
