Dr. Sachin Soni, MD

Dr. Sachin Soni earned his medical degree at Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in nephrology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Dr. Soni, who has been in practice since 2001, is board certified in nephrology and a member of the American Society of Nephrology. He treats patients 18 years and older, and speaks Hindi and Punjabi. His primary clinical interests are renal transplants, rare kidney diseases, advanced chronic kidney disease, hypertensive chronic kidney disease and resistant (difficult to control) hypertension.

Patients describe Dr. Sony as kind and knowledgeable, a physician who really cares about his patients. He takes ample time to answer questions, explain medical issues and offer support in an office environment that is calm and relaxing.

A resident of Sugar Land, Dr. Soni is married and the father of one daughter. Away from his practice, his favorite activities are traveling, reading and spending time with his family.
