Christina Kim, M.D., is an Assistant Professor at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and a board-certified neurologist specializing in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. She has clinical expertise in the management of stroke prevention, acute stroke treatment and long-term stroke management.
A magnum cum laude graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Kim received her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. After concluding her residency in Neurology at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, she completed a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to joining Mischer Neuroscience Institute, Dr. Kim served as a stroke specialist at Inova Medical Group Neurology in Fairfax, Virginia. She has presented nationally and conducted research on stroke-related topics.
