Dr. Comfort Nneze Ughanze received her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago. She completed her internship and residency at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ughanze has cared for teenagers, adults and geriatric patients since 2012. She specializes in abnormal menstrual bleeding, abnormal Pap smears, comprehensive gynecologic care (including adolescent), contraception (birth control) counseling and care, fibroids (uterina myoma), hormone replacement therapy, incontinence, infertility evaluation, minimally invasive surgery, menopause, preconception counseling and care, pregnancies (high-risk and low-risk) and well-woman exams.

Patients enjoy Dr. Ughanze’s comprehensive and compassionate approach to care. With her calming presence, she takes the time to listen to each patient, creating a trusting, safe environment. Her patients have access to many different specialties, cutting-edge treatments and coordinated care throughout the Greater Houston area.
