Dr. Cynthia Rios, MD

Dr. Cynthia Rios, who grew up just north of Houston, earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of St. Thomas and her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). She chose to complete her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo because it allowed her to work with the underserved community of North Texas.

In practice since 2006, Dr. Rios is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She provides a full range of gynecological and obstetrical care, ranging from well-woman exams to complex diagnostic services. Dr. Rios is also BioTE® certified, providing patients with bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and guidance.

Dr. Rios’ practice philosophy is to give her patients holistic, personalized care. She offers them the most complete information possible, so, with her guidance, they can make the best medical decisions for themselves.

A resident of Rosenberg, Dr. Rios is married and the mother of three children. Her hobbies include having dance parties with her children, maintaining her beautiful rose garden and pampering her pet chickens.
