Dr. Uralil is a native of Sugar Land and attended St. Agnes Academy high school. After graduating cum laude from Creighton University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration & Policy, she attended the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, where she obtained her M.D. and completed her residency training in Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Reproductive Sciences.
Dr. Uralil is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and a current member of the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Uralil is also a member of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
Dr. Uralil believes that compassion, service, knowledge and trustworthiness are integral to her work. As the daughter of a physician mother, she brings with her the wonderful lessons and insights her mother has passed on regarding the challenges of being a successful professional, while always remembering that each and every patient has their own story.
As a specialist in women's healthcare, Dr. Uralil believes that patients benefit most from a combination of individual and holistic approaches. Her treatment style considers not only the patient's medical condition, but also the person:

Dr Uralil specializes in minimally invasive surgery, vaginal hysterectomy, urinary incontinence procedures, hysteroscopy, LEEP, as well as in-office procedures such as IUD and Essure placement, thermal ablations and colposcopy. Her areas of expertise also include adolescent health issues and family planning. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Malayalam.
In her spare time, Dr. Uralil enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, visiting local restaurants, venues and museums, and has recently taken up needlework.
