Dr. Tom Nguyen, MD

Dr. Tom Nguyen earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Nguyen, who has been in practice since 1983, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He sees patients ages 12-65 and speaks Vietnamese and Spanish. His primary clinical interests are annual checkups, breast masses, breast pain, heavy and painful periods, menopause, hormonal replacement, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and vaginal infections. He performs minimally invasive surgery such as hysteroscopy and robotic hysterectomy.

Because he sees patients as equal partners, Dr. Nguyen strives to ensure that each woman is well-informed and fully participates in her medical decision-making process. He treats every patient with kindness and respect and provides competent and honest medical care to all patients. His patients describe him as a personable, caring, thorough and professional physician who communicates well, takes his time and makes them feel comfortable.

Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and American College of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

A resident of Sugar Land, Dr. Nguyen is married and has three children and three grandchildren. When he is away from his practice, he enjoys traveling.
