Born and raised in California, Uyen Lauren Ta, MD, FACOG, received her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Ta then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston School of Medicine.
Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ta specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic surgery, and menopausal management with natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She treats patients living in Alief, Bellaire, Fresno, Houston, Missouri City, Stafford, Sugar Land and Thompsons.
Being a busy working mom with two small children has given her the passion for helping patients incorporate wellness and nutrition into their own busy, multi-tasking lives. Dr. Ta is a frequent speaker on the subjects of stress, hormones, nutrition and functional medicine.
Dr. Ta is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) and the Texas Medical Association (TMA).

She lives in Bellaire with her husband, son and daughter. She is fluent in Vietnamese.
