Physician Biography

Dr. Rabih Said earned his medical degree at the Lebanese University in Beirut. He completed a residency and fellowship at North Shore LIJ’s Staten Island University Hospital and a fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology, Dr. Said’s primary clinical interests are refractory solid tumors, early drug development, genitourinary cancers, melanoma and sarcoma. He was recognized in 2013 as one of Houston’s Best Doctors by Houstonia magazine and has earned awards from Richmond County, New York and Staten Island University Hospital.  In practice since 2002, he treats patients 18 and older and speaks French and Arabic.

Dr. Said’s practice philosophy is grounded in personalized, multidisciplinary cancer care, a patient-physician relationship based on mutual trust and respect, and a great bedside manner.  His experience in clinical trials and early cancer-drug development provides him with a broad perspective on cancer treatment that greatly benefits his patients.

Dr. Said lives in the Medical Center area of Houston.
