Dr. Margaret Phillips is
a graduate of the University of Alabama School of
Medicine in Birmingham. She completed a residency at the University of Maryland
Medical Center and fellowships in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery
at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and the University
of Tennessee School of Medicine in Memphis. She was elected to Alpha Omega
Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Dr. Phillips’ sub-specialty is ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Her clinical interests include ptosis (droopy eyelids), eyelid malpositions,
tearing, orbital reconstruction after trauma, eyelid or orbital tumor excision
and removal of blind or painful eyes. In practice since 2011, Dr. Phillips
treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Phillips’ intensive
training has focused on cosmetic, reconstructive and rehabilitative surgeries
of the eyelid, orbit and tear duct system. Her practice philosophy centers on
providing each patient with the same treatment she would give a family member.
