Dr. Dharmpal Vansadia, DO

Dharmpal Vijaykumar Vansadia, DO, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Baylor University in Waco, where he was a member of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core. He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Dr. Vansadia went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery with The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. He also completed a sports medicine surgery fellowship at the Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute in New Orleans, where he gained extensive experience in sports medicine.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Vansadia specializes in arthroscopic surgery (arthroscopy), fracture management. sports surgeries and total joint replacement. His clinical interests include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) care, cartilage preservation, hip arthroscopic surgery (arthroscopy), minimally invasive total joint replacement surgeries, rotator cuff care and stem-cell therapy (platelet-rich plasma therapy, PRP therapy).

Dr. Vansadia cares for athletes at all levels. During his training, he served as an assistant team physician for the NFL New Orleans Saints, NBA New Orleans Pelicans, University of New Orleans, Dayton Dutch Lions FC, John Curtis High School and Centerville High School.

Dr. Vansadia grew up in Port Arthur, Texas, and now calls Houston home. He is happiest outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking and traveling. At home, he enjoys cooking, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends.
