Dr. Stafford is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a primary focus on joint replacement surgery. This includes the latest and most current technology involving hip, knee and shoulder replacement. He performs anterior approach hip replacement, as well as total knee and robotic assisted MAKO partial knee replacements. Complex arthritic shoulder conditions are also treated utilizing either conventional or reverse total shoulder replacement as indicated.

A native Texan, Dr. Stafford was raised in the greater Houston area. He completed both medical school and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, graduating in 1998. He became Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in July 2000. Dr. Stafford was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons during ceremonies held at the Academy's 69th annual meeting in 2001. Dr. Stafford participates in the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery Maintenance of Certification program, completing the rigorous requirements and becoming re-certified in 2011 and again in 2018.

Along with his interest in joint replacement, Dr. Stafford also practices General Orthopedics. He performs a variety of minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures addressing non-arthritic shoulder and knee conditions.
