Dr. Chandra Srinivasan earned his medical degree at the University of Kerala, India. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the New York University School of Medicine and did post-graduate work in pediatrics at the Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. He completed fellowships in pediatric cardiology at Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, as well as a fellowship in pediatric cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center.
Board certified in pediatric cardiology, Dr. Srinivasan’s clinical interests include arrhythmias in children, young adults and patients with congenital heart disease; catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias; management of inherited arrhythmia syndromes; implantation and management of pacemakers and defibrillators; and cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure. He offers comprehensive services for diagnosis and management of arrhythmias in children, young adults and patients with congenital heart disease and resynchronization therapy for management of heart failure in children and young adults.
Dr. Srinivasan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and is certified as an Electrophysiology Specialist by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. He is also a member of the American Heart Association. He serves on the pediatric cardiology faculty at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School.
