Dr. Daphnee Jean-Francois, MD

A native of Brooklyn, Dr. Daphnee Jean-Francois earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center-Northwell Health in Long Island, New York.

Dr. Jean-Francois, who is board certified in pediatrics, has been in practice since 2011. She is experienced in taking care of newborns and children in a primary care setting. One of her primary clinical interests is promoting breastfeeding and supporting infants and mothers through this process. She speaks conversational French and Haitian Creole.

She takes pride in what she does and looks forward to caring for what matters most to people: their children. She welcomes addressing parents’ concerns about the best care for their children, including conversations about vaccinations.

Dr. Jean-Francois is a resident of Houston. Away from her practice, she  enjoys reading for leisure, West-African and salsa dancing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
