A native of San Antonio, Ellen Mann, DO, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences at Texas A&M University in College Station. She then received her medical degree at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) in Fort Worth.
After moving to Houston, Dr. Manncompleted her pediatrics residency program with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital. For an additional year, she served as the Pediatric Chief Resident at McGovern Medical School, where she assisted in training residents and medical students at LBJ Hospital and in a pediatric clinic.
Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), Dr. Mann is passionate about helping new (as well as experienced) moms and dads navigate parenthood. She also cares for children with chronic health problems, and believes in working together with patient families to provide the best care possible for their little ones.
Practicing in the Katy area, Dr. Mann cares for patients living in Barker, Cypress, Fulshear, Houston, Katy and Richmond.
Dr. Mann met her husband as a freshman at Texas A&M. They married in 2013 and welcomed twins into their family in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all of the great restaurants in Houston, cooking and relaxing at home with her family and her pug, Frank.
